The Head of our perfumery division Mrs. Amita Agrawal has prominently featured in one of the most widely read and prestigious portals GNT Digital.

There is no question that fragrance is the central aspect of incense business. The Department Head, who joined the business 23 years ago, has led from the front, formulating aromas that have captured the world’s attention.

Mrs. Agrawal also revealed what makes MDPH such a strong brand. About 4000 employees produce 3.5 crore incense sticks every day. MDPH exports more than 1200 products to more than 43 countries! Women constitute about 80% of the company’s workforce.

Then, she told the portal that she joined MDPH as a young employee in the year 2000.  In those days, it was not very common for a girl to pursue professional dreams, but she found encouragement and backing from her in-laws. With her hard work and dedication, she rose through the ranks and became the head of perfumery division.

Besides fragrance formulation and development, the Head of our Perfumery Division has taken deep interest in women’s employment and empowerment. A key part of MDPH management, she takes a proactive interest in women employee’s training and welfare.
