August 13, 2021A large number of people are getting vaccinated daily after the launch of the national COVID-19 vaccination program. With a vast population to be vaccinated, various drives have been initiated to speed up the vaccination process.
On Yoga Day i.e., 21st June, 2021, Municipal Corporation organized vaccination drive at few centers, MDPH was honored to be one of them. The jab was given to the masses with the feasible facility of ‘On the spot online registration’. MDPH arranged comfortable seating areas equipped with coolers for everyone’s convenience and also provided refreshments to the people.
India administered the highest record of COVID-19 vaccine doses after the announcement of changes in policy by our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On June 21, with over 16 lakhs vaccinations, Madhya Pradesh topped India’s vaccination chart. From which, around 3,88,401 vaccinations were given in the Indore division.
Mr. Tulsiram Silawat, BJP Cabinet Minister, graced the vaccination drive with his presence. A total of 748 people were vaccinated under the drive on 21st and 23rd June. MDPH is glad to be a part of the vaccination program of India.
MDPH has always been active in fulfilling its role during these tough times. To combat the 2nd wave, MDPH donated sanitizers to hospitals and schools. And also distributed 2000 Zed Black grocery bags during lockdown.
