In a resolute step toward fortifying its culture of continuous learning, MDPH hosted a specialised training session on procurement, negotiation, and integrity at Indore’s Brilliant Convention Centre on April 25, 2025.

Designed to enrich strategic capabilities across leadership levels, the workshop brought together our company’s 26 senior executives representing core verticals such as Purchase, Manufacturing, Marketing, Depot Operations, Accounts, and HR.

The session was led by the distinguished procurement specialist Mr. S. R. Sathyanarayan, whose deep-rooted experience in sourcing and negotiation lent gravitas to the day’s agenda. His unique strength lay not merely in theory, but in demystifying complex procurement mechanisms through real-world insights, turning what is often a jargon-laden subject into an engaging learning experience.

 

From decoding the anatomy of a strong vendor agreement to highlighting the moral backbone of purchasing decisions, Mr. Sathyanarayan covered a wide canvas.

 

Ethical procurement was not just a footnote but a central theme-one that sparked meaningful introspection among participants and drew a strong correlation between integrity and operational excellence. The emphasis on honest negotiation and transparent processes struck a chord with the attendees, many of whom manage high-stake supplier relationships and cost centres.

What set the session apart was its practical tilt. Rather than a one-way lecture, it evolved into an interactive dialogue, with participants analysing scenarios, reflecting on current methods, and exploring ways to infuse clarity and accountability into their workflows.
