Being invited as Guest of Honour to Daly College of Business Management's orientation was a privilege. Our Managing Partner, Anshul Agrawal, was invited as the Guest of Honour and attended the event. Standing in a room full of young minds alive with ambition and curiosity at the start of their journeys felt like the right moment to share what 156 years of institutional legacy and my own years of building have taught me.
Three things that matter
Understand your consumer. The Indian consumer evolves constantly. Successful businesses are genuinely curious about what customers need next, not what we think they should want.
Change is constant. We survive not by predicting the future perfectly, but by staying flexible, learning quickly, and not mistaking current success for permanent advantage.
Ambition needs curiosity. You can want success. But do you want to understand? Do you have the courage to fail, learn, and build something that's actually yours?
"The future belongs to those who stay curious, keep learning, and have the courage to build."
That's the message I wanted to leave them with. Not a formula. Not a playbook. Permission to build something meaningful, even when the path isn't obvious.
