December 28, 2020Mr. Ankit Agrawal, director of MDPH Group, recently wrote an article that talked about ‘Why is it necessary to have essential oils in our homes.’ He spoke about how these essential oils can have a lasting impact on our mood and help elevate. Essential oils can’t cure diseases but can significantly provide comfort. If someone is having trouble sleeping, a few drops of Lavender oil will help them relax, unwind and fall asleep.
To answer “What exactly are essential oils?”
He wrote, these are incredibly potent oils which have been around for centuries. These oils are extracted from plants to capture their flavours, scents, and all the beneficial properties.
They can be used for aromatherapy and definitely are a great addition in your skincare, haircare, and healthcare collection. Essential oils influence the limbic framework. Limbic framework is connected to the feelings, emotions, heart rate, circulatory strain, breathing, memory, stress, and hormone balance, resulting in encompassing impact on the body. Our sense of smell is 10,000 times more sensitive than any other senses. That’s the reason why certain smells take you back to a specific memory.
He further listed down the benefits of all these fragrances as:-
Sandal essential oil is beneficial in treating both physical and mental disorders, including anxiety and bronchitis.
Rose essential Oil has anxiolytic (anxiety-reducing) and aphrodisiac properties. It induces physiological effects, reduces blood pressure, balances heart rate, and improves respiration. It also increases the “feel-good” hormones like serotonin and dopamine.
Jasmine essential oil increases beta waves, which are linked to alertness. This is really effective for health conditions. It results in a balanced heart rate, stabilized blood pressure, maintained temperature, stress response, enhanced alertness, and breathing.
Bergamote essential oil has a light citrus perfume with floral notes which are said to have healing properties, commonly used in aromatherapy to elevate mood and alleviate stress.
Bergamote essential oil not only helps to support the immune system but also helps to fight off illness-causing organisms once they’re in your body.
Lemon Grass essential oil has a light, fresh, citrus aroma with earthy undertones. Refreshing, rejuvenating, stimulating, and balancing, it inspires and improves mental clarity. Lavender essential oil is one of the most popular scents in aromatherapy. It is a common sleep aid. Lavender essential oil is great for its antiseptic, analgesic, calmative, and deodorant properties. It helps soothe anxiety and headaches. This oil is known to have a cooling effect for migraines.
