Zed Black launches Incense Sticks made from recycled Temple flowers in association with Help Us Green
December 28, 2020With the growing demand of incense products, Zed Black set up its 3rd manufacturing unit to support the prayers of millions of people and create calm and peaceful environment.
This 3rd unit has been set up in Indore and is spread over 15 acres of land. Out of 15 acres, phase-1 which covers 7.5 acres of land with a constructed area of 2.5 lac sq feets (23,000 sq meters) is complete. Rest 7.5 acres is reserved for Phase-2.
This is the world’s largest unperfumed factory. This factory produce raw incense products (un-perfumed) such as Raw Agarbatti, Raw Dhoopcones, Raw Dhoopstick as well as finished goods of Hawan Samagri and Sambrani Cups.
This plant will play a major role in employment of unskilled labours of Madhya Pradesh. It will become the source of livelihood for large number of people, being major percentage of females in it. Phase-1 is expected to employ 700 people with 75% being females. Zed Black believes in women empowerment and have also launched a CSR activity ‘WISH’ for female hygiene interpersonal skills.
This greenfield project was completed in a span of just 15 months. In terms of facilities, Unit-3 is a state of art infrastructure project with fully developed roads, parking, 3 floor dining facility for labors, landscaping across the unit, a STP (Swerage Treatment Plant) for water recharging, Fire Hydrant Line, automatic retractable gates and adequate fire firefighting arrangements.
With total 4 manufacturing units, Zed Black is processing more than 3 crore (30 million) incense sticks everyday. These incense sticks are not only sold in India but are exported to more than 29 countries. Zed Black is amongst the top Incense Stick brand in India.
