We are surrounded by fear, danger, stress and negative thoughts. The risk at which all of us are, is frightening. We all are asking the unanswerable questions- When will this end? Will it ever end? When will things get normal? Will things get normal? It is hard to hear about our family, friends, relatives, neighbours or anyone getting tested positive for Corona. The restriction on going out and meeting friends is upsetting and makes us feel lonely and irritated. The circumstances compel us to think adversely. But are we going to surrender and let them win? Definitely No!
If you are feeling anxious, try these out:
· Say no to negative news.
· Consume informative news from trusted sources.
· Call your family and friends. We all need each other.
· Develop a healthy and engaging routine.
· Pray and meditate. Fragrances like Lavender, Jasmine, Cinnamon and Rosemary help in better concentration.
· Identify and control your emotional stress. Don’t ignore it.
· Exercise and invest in self-care.
· Create a happy and energetic environment.
· Be hopeful and manifest positive thoughts.
· The most important- be kind to yourself!
These are simple things but have huge impact. Regularly practicing might help you better. You are not lonely, people are out there for you. Reach out to them. We cannot give up and succumb to negativity. There is no good in worrying about things which are out of our hands. So, instead let us focus on things which are in our hands- our safety and health. Follow guidelines and help others. Don’t let the situation control you, take control of the situation. Remember times maybe tough but not strong enough to break you! You’ve got this.
