June 14, 2021Do you know sleep affects how we feel, think, behave, react, almost everything. If you had a sound sleep, you will feel happy, relaxed and productive whereas if you didn’t have enough sleep, your whole day would feel like a burden and you will end up tired and annoyed. Experts believe that there is a correlation between sleep and restlessness due to the part of our brains that deals with our instinctive and primal emotions. But how much sleep is enough sleep? Well, some people feel refreshed after only six to seven hours of sleep, while some need eight hours of sleep. It totally depends upon an individual. However, a sleep of 7-8 hours is considered ideal.
Sleep not only influences us mentally but physically too. A sound sleep leads to sharper brain, healthier heart, steadier blood sugar, better immune function and what not, the list goes on. Looks like more than half of your problems will be solved if you have enough sleep right? But sometimes we do not control our body and mind, they control us. And the tough times we are in right now, surrounded by sadness, fear and negativity, we lose more control. The stress, tension and the energy we consume during the day poses a challenge to sound sleep.
Good sleep leads to good health and happy mind. If you feel tired, irritated, confused, try these tips for a sound sleep and bid goodbye to all those sleepless nights. We wish you a healthy, sound and quality sleep. Happy Sleeping!
