In a recent conversation with BW Retail World, our Director, Mr. Anshul Agrawal, spoke at length about how we are shaping the ambitious journey of hitting the Rs. 1000-crore turnover. For instance, We are setting our sights on Mexico and Brazil as part of our international expansion. At the same time, we are boosting the role of e-commerce, quick commerce, and modern trade in our sales. This year, we are on track to touch ₹800 crore in turnover, with eyes firmly set on the ₹1,000 crore mark in the next two to three years.
Our Director explained what makes Zed Black stand apart. Our fragrance and our quality. From day one, we have never compromised on either. Friends, customers, and partners tell us that the soothing fragrance of Zed Black keeps them coming back. That is a legacy our founder started and one we continue to honor.
He revealed that MDPH believes in the power of strong distribution. Today, we have 4,000 distributors serving 7–8 lakh Indian shops. Ninety-five percent of our business still comes from retail. Yet, we see the share of e-commerce, quick commerce, and modern trade rising to 15 percent within three years.
Our deepest strength lies in non-metro India. Tier 2 and Tier 3 towns contribute the largest share of our business. Consumer preferences are changing too. The ₹100 pack has become the hero, with bigger packs of 400 grams gaining popularity for monthly use.
While India is our core, our global story is growing fast. We are doing well in the United States and now expanding into Mexico, Brazil, and Morocco. Each of these markets offers a unique opportunity for us.
Our Director emphasized that innovation has been key to our growth. Beyond Rose, Mogra, and Sandalwood, we introduced bold fragrances like Pineapple and a Perfume series inspired by global bestsellers. These have quickly become top sellers—not just for prayer but also for homes.
Festivals bring fresh energy. This year, our five-foot Agarbatti will light up pandals, and our presence on platforms like Swiggy and Blinkit will make access easier.
Through it all, we remain mindful of sustainability. With in-house recycling and a circular economy, we are now a zero solid-waste company.
Our Director Mr. Anshul Agrawal is confident that the path ahead is clear. With fragrance as our soul and growth as our mission, we are confident of crossing the ₹1,000 crore milestone and taking Zed Black to the world.
