Recently VCCircle, a pre-eminent source of news, information, data and analysis on alternative investments in India, published an insightful article about Mysore Deep Perfumery House (MDPH), highlighting our journey and ambitious plans for the future.
During 2020-21, amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, our sales soared as people across the nation turned to praying inside their homes. This significant growth was not just a temporary surge. Over the past three years, we have worked diligently to build on this momentum and are now setting our sights on achieving a topline of Rs 1,000 crore. VCCircle has recognized our efforts to expand beyond our core incense stick business. With successful forays into prayer products, hygiene, and fragrance, we are excited about the positive response and potential for these new categories.
Mr. Anshul Agrawal, our Director, shared our vision, “We are already present in every part of India and must be the only agarbatti company that is in the top five in every state. We are also exporting to more than 40 countries.” Our goal is to extend our reach to 100 countries while increasing our presence in the Indian market to be on almost every retail counter where prayer products are sold.
The article highlights our resilience in overcoming challenges such as logistical issues and competition from copycat brands. Despite these obstacles, we have achieved growth rates of 13% and 14.2% in FY23 and FY24, respectively. Our target is to reach a topline of Rs 750 crore by FY25 and Rs 1,000 crore by FY27.
We extend our gratitude to VCCircle for this detailed coverage of MDPH. As we continue our journey, we remain committed to innovation, quality, and expanding our reach to bring our products to more people around the world.
